No Hard Feelings | review

About: On the brink of losing her home, Maddie finds an intriguing job listing: helicopter parents looking for someone to bring their introverted 19-year-old son out of his shell before college. She has one summer to make him a man or die trying.

Review: The funniest I've ever seen Jennifer Lawrence be.

No Hard Feelings had my interest with Jennifer Lawrence being cast in it, she's a badass. Now, not only is she a badass... she's a badass comedic performer. She's really funny in this movie.

No Hard Feelings was billed as a very Superbad-esque type of comedy film, it is not that case. Superbad is known for being rather raunchy, No Hard Feelings was raunchy, but a very scaled back kind of raunchy. Figures with the times now, but still, you can't just say "this movie is basically Superbad", not the case in the slightest.

With that said, Lawrence kills it in every scene she's in. The acting in all was very good and it had a lot of hearty moments to it. If you're looking for some heartwarming moments, you'll definitely get your fix with that. If you want some raunchy one-liners and moments, you'll get a decent serving of that. If you're looking for Jennifer Lawrence to have some awesome comedic timing and a few slapstick moments, you're gonna get a nice entree of it.

It's a fun movie for either the theater or at home, it really doesn't matter where you watch it, but I'd say watch it with some friends who love to get a bit 'naughty' here and there. Was that a good choice of words? I don't know, but I'll roll with it. You get the idea. It's fun. Jennifer Lawrence is awesome. You'll laugh. You probably won't cry as much. You'll be in a good spot. Enjoy.
