Bird Box | review

About: Five years after an ominous unseen presence drives most of society to suicide, a mother and her two children make a desperate bid to reach safety.

Review: I've known about Bird Box for a while now, but never sat down and watched it until now. It's really good. Sandra Bullock's best performance. And by that, I mean this is her best performance since The Blind Side back in 2010. She was fierce, intelligent and brave as Malorie.

By the way, YouTube star Tyrone Magnus is the reason I watched this movie in the first place, after watching his reaction to the new Bird Box Barcelona movie trailer. You're the man, Tyrone!

By the way, I definitely wanna see the new Bird Box movie coming out soon, Barcelona. Sounds and looks really fun, much like this movie.

I liked just about every aspect of this film. It's got horror, it has a ton of suspense, it has a great cast, it's nicely paced and has a heartwarming and intense final act. Bullock is terrific. The story itself is pretty solid too, with a very interesting idea and plot to match everything else. It all just clicked nicely.

If you haven't seen Bird Box yet, go do so. It's fantastic. It's fun, engaging, thrilling and is not too long or too short of a movie.
